Zeb isn’t short for anything, I think my parents main reason for naming me Zeb was so that no one could shorten my name into a stupid nickname, no one can call me “Zezzaaaaah” the way someone could call a Harry “Hazza”. It means “dick” in Lebanese but my parents didn’t realise until I went to the hairdresser when I was little, who was Lebanese and when she asked my parents what my name is, they replied with Zeb and it followed with saying “Oh mah Gowwwwdddd!” over and over. I think Zebadiah is a jewish name, something about a house of god, not 100% sure, but my name isn’t Zebadiah, just Zeb.
